The Storyteller Studios recently had the honor of working with the incredible staff at Compass for Kids to create a branding video based on the existing programs run by the nonprofit in Springfield, Illinois.

Through after-school and summer programs, Compass for Kids provides resources and support to underserved children in Springfield Public Schools – District 186.
Club Compass is an after-school program focusing on social-emotional skill development, life skills, enrichment, and reading. It serves elementary students in Springfield Public Schools – District 186.
The purpose of Camp Compass is to prevent summer learning loss by closing the achievement and opportunity gaps between students from families of low income and their counterparts.
Camp Care-A-Lot is a five-day residential camp for under-served elementary students throughout Central Illinois.
The video tells the story of Compass for Kids’ impact through the eyes of the staff and participants of the programs.

It was an honor meeting the team at Compass for Kids, the children, and having the opportunity to capture the positive impact these programs are having in our community.

Chris [Costello] came to one of our sites to get extra footage so that we could capture more content of the entire experience.
